From an experimental project I am working on where I create images using just a predefined grid.
The grid is square and contains 400 triangles which are the same size.

The grid is square and contains 400 triangles which are the same size.
This is not the whole grid, but a section taken from the middle. At the moment the full grids are 500px x 500px but as they are vectors I may change this later.

Fun experiment! Great colors, and nice subtle shading. Also, love that it's transparent.
I might clean up those few blips in the construction – first one I noticed was the black on yellow on the right, then noticed a few more. Also, the top and bottom edge could use a swift swipe with the eraser tool : )

@Scott Yeah, some of these are pretty rough - just straight screen grab out of illustrator so they're not too clean!
Was actually planning on revisiting this project soon - maybe posting the grid on my site so others can play with it too.
