   A day belated once again, but posting the Tuesday doodle anyways: this round is more sketchy icons.

   Needed to do a network diagram and kept coming up with Visio templates when looking for icons. Turned out to be just as quick to sketch them, shoot 'em with the iPhone, and colorize them in Fireworks.

   Wanted to add some context. Was pretty entertaining digging up the actual model numbers for the networking hardware used and sketching them real quick. Each sketch took about 4-5 minutes and colorization was about the same - Visio would probably be just as expedient but this was more fun. ;)

   Not dumb at all: what's in the pic is a lead-holder (Staedtler Mars 780c), but for inking these I've been using Prismacolor's Premium pens. Microns work great as well, and they can be found at pretty much any hobby/art supply shop.
