The transition to rounded corners ended up looking pretty cool. Also thinned the border, removed the inner "shade" completely, and removed the source button.
I felt a lot like Cole about the source button - it seemed add odd combo of hover/click. My mental model was "these are thumbnails, click them to get more information / see details / get a link to the original source". It's like a portfolio site. Thumbnails > Detail Page > Link to "Launch the Site".
Honestly when i went to the site for the first time, I was confused by source. Since your whole layout is unconventional (albeit very cool) that one extra "new" term was confusing. "View" would be better, or nothing, as Jake proposes, would work too.

So source isn't as important to you from this view? It seemed to be important to a number of people, but we're trying to figure out if it's necessary.
