Interesting, but what is it for?

It's for a presentation I'm giving at An Event Apart on the history of the internet from 1452 to present.
I shudder to think of the standard in 1452 (Internet Explorer -500 ?)
1452... the year da Vinci was born?
Here's another hint: paper from China, winepress, woodblocks from China, and oil-based ink.
I bet web standards were easier to agree on in 1452 :)
I thought it was for a year in history, although "Paul Hardcastle" also popped in my mind ;-)
I would very much like to see this presentation. I live in San Diego now... maybe I can sneak in to AEA San Diego? ;)
@Max I'm pretty sure it was still IE6 that year.

I hope you didn't let Dan Brown help write the presentation.
back then it was all about which bible you browsed. If you got it wrong, you'd be killed. Now THAT's a way to promote standards.
Love your ball terminals ;)
You sure love some those "hot" colors, don't you? Looking good, as usual.
In inininininin Vietnam he was 19 n n n n nineteen. Sorry anytime i look at this image that song pops into my head.
@Stewart Thanks, now I’m having a Paul Hardcastle flashback … incoming!
