   Reworking the app icon for Sociable slightly for it's v2 update. WIP version of the new icon, older version was my first shot here at the start of the year:

   Looks like you're using one brushed metal texture for both bubbles. The center of the texture is really close on the smaller one, and feels uncomfortable. Maybe use a separate brushed metal texture for each?

   You're right - there's something "not quite right" about the texture, I'm using an angle gradient over the one layer. Will play around separating them out.
