The legs look really good, but then it slowly falls apart as you move up his body to me. Perhaps that is how you have been gradually attacking this drawing. So perhaps I am speaking too soon.
Thanks Shane. I was all over the place. More an experiment. Don't do many over-the-top superheros. But I'm glad the rough spots are apparent, makes it easier to know what to fix.
I like the more simple, iconic too. But I'm pushing this per request.
My recommendation is that before you get too far into shading and color, nail the linework first. He doesn't have enough definition yet, in my opinion. Like, this is the coloring that would go underneath a refined layer of ink.
With that said, the coloring you have is good, but let's talk about the lighting a bit:
Make sure that it comes from a consistent angle, all the way across the body. Some parts of the body have the light coming straight down, some parts are coming from the top left, and then the abdomen has a light coming from the far right (otherwise it looks like a concave belly, curved inward).
Add a some shadow under the chin, otherwise it appears to blend directly down into his neck.
@Anton: Many thanks! Definitely have to lean on the expert advice to push through this one. Typically don't get this heavy into shading etc. so I'm trying to stay afloat. Will try to put the tips into good use.

Trying to make some progress on this guy. I know there are some rough spots. However all feedback would be great!!! View on Forrst

Cool shading, Terry! The abdomen is the only real weak spot I see.
