    Time for a coffee break...

    sketching out a few iterations of the heraldic geometric double-headed emperor's eagle coat of arms. For this new Empure brand I might even swap the eagle head with double-sided Swans instead. I think Swans have always convey a sense of purity, don't you think?

    I'm always full of inspiration and I just can't cope with the tons of ideas floating in my mind at the moment.

    A hight resolution photo as attached.

    "I'm full of inspiration and I just can't cope with the tons of ideas floating in my mind at the moment." That is a good place to be in Gert. Keep it up.

    That awesome Gert, very tribal. Really great to see your work space for illustration; love the owl on the far left. ;)

    @John, as a matter of fact this is the case almost on a daily base. I just can't decide and constantly in dilemma's!

    @Joshua, that's part of the problem, because usually I'm working on a couple of project at the same time :) The own is for another project which I will be launching here soon.

    @Owen I'm using a A3 Ultra Thin LED Tattoo Tracing Graphing Light Box (damn, what a mouth full) and I bought it from WorldWide Tattoo Supply at eBay.

    @Jonny Bingo!

    @Christopher Yes I agree, but I don't know how to make time lapses.

    @Marius Such a compliment mate. Although I'm a rather slow worker! :)

    @Deividas Nothing wrong with wooden oldies fellow. And I think you have nothing to complain about your talents dude! Anyway, I prefer my 0.5mm replaceable pens over the wooden oldies. Just need a couple of new 0.3mm pencils now, because the 0.5's are too clumsy at times.

    @fracturize I think we're blessed then don't you think? I often read about designers got blocked, but I never understood what it actually means.

    ^ Or coffee spill ;-) Great work, Gert. Your style is definitely distinctive: heraldic-tribal-geometric, if I may put it.

    Thanks for the reminder Inka. One day I might tattoo those three keywords on my forehead just to remind myself when I'm way too off again :)

    It's good to see someone who still has old-school drawing skills.

    My desk has a frosted glass top; I just put a cheap flood lamp underneath and viola! a light table. The light is uneven, though. But it works for me most of the time.

    @Brad your link doesn't work, but I really dig the idea! It would be just so awesome if I could get this LED light table 'into' my desk instead of on top of it.

    Btw, couldn't do without sketching. It's the most important part of my logo design process.
