My Tickets

I am back again with the much anticipated product that i have been a part of - QuickTech! Yes, a couple of years back I did some designs of QuickTech with its Founder, but unfortunately, it couldn’t be launched due to some serious bugs and platform-related issues and incomplete features. So, I and Usman Javaid, as a team, took it up again, convinced its Founder into making QuickTech a fully functional, and a one-of-a-kind help desk solution for both SMEs and big organizations alike.

What QuickTech has to offer?

For those of you who never followed my QuickTech design project before, it’s a comprehensive, general-purpose help desk RMM / PSA solution for managed server companies, and is mainly geared towards solving intra-departmental and inter-companies IT issues including everything from servers, PCs, tablets and other devices installed on the client company network. Reaching out to the client computers from remote location is what makes it stand out from the rest of help desk solutions. It boasts an automated Ticket management with a tons a features and options to manage all kind of help desk needs including the products, services and IT consultancy. Not only does it provide support to the client companies via Tickets interface, but it also makes it easy for QuickTech customers to manage their Tickets, Accounts, CRM data and Devices (installed on client companies’ networks).

QuickTech Development - A brief story

Now let me tell how I stumbled across QuickTech …again in January 2015. I teamed up with Usman Javaid and discussed some of the aspects of QuickTech tickets and clients management. After much market research, we took the entire project work, not limited to UX designing. We called a number of IT professionals for interviews, told them our plan with respect to feature additions that must be made part of QuickTech. After teaming up with developers from Russia (Vladimir Nikulin team) and some local front-end developers, we started the project work. I and Usman Javaid took care of everything from concept development, User Experience scenarios, to testing and deploying the modules of QuickTech. Later, we had to let go off some of our team members in search of more dynamic and enthusiastic ones. It was a roller coaster ride, really. Phew! Finally, we were on the path of building the most comprehensive, yet an easy help desk solution.

Today, I am showcasing the very first screen of QuickTech Ticket Management interface. The scenario screen is attached as well to guide you through some of the basic concepts. Other shots reveal the UX elements management and connection among them in the context of handling different aspect of Tickets.

QuickTech is in works right now, and going to be launched really soon. I will update you guys to grab its beta and test it out yourself.

There are lot to come soon from QuickTech project. So stick around! Don't forget to check out the attached shots and hit L if you like them. Suggestions and feedback are always welcome.
