Here are a few more details of the whimsical UI design of the social wine app I'm working on. Be sure to check out the attached screenshot for more detail. I'll be posting some additional screens soon! How can you not like a wine that has notes of bacon? Happy Friday to my Dribbble peeps.
Good question, Esad. Since this is my personal project, I wanted to take a different approach and break the frame of being overtly literal, so to speak. There are plenty of wine apps out there that have literal design themes and color palettes. The fabric isn't really meant to be "jeans," although I can see how it can be perceived this way. It's simply fabric with stitching and I wanted to serve this up in a color palette that we haven't seen before in a wine app.
I just saw the full shot and when it's balanced out with other elements, I must admit that it does look better. One other fitting fabric analogy that comes to mind would be 'tablecloth', but all I could find were horrible checkered red white ones :)

I love these textures, but are they fitting choice for a wine app? What has jeans has to do with wine?
