   I simplified the badge to make the robot more prominent compared to the original version.

   I like this, but what if you ditched the middle line in the 'badge' entirely, and made the outer stroke the same width as that around the text ribbon?

   I think the middle line needs to stay to keep the look of military insignia such as this http://cl.ly/1M05360t2w1n1A0O3F16. I'll experiment with making the stroke heavier, it does look too thin.
