Nice and bold, love it! The connection between the 'p' and the 'a' is terrific. For the 'i', you could try condensing the dot a bit, that might help. I really like your way of looking at alternate letters and ligatures here as well (use of outline but no fill), it works really well.
Hadn't occurred to me to edit directly on top of an idea written out in a light color ink. I'm in the habit of placing a piece of tracing paper over my initial write-out, then retracing in pencil overtop. I have to try your method; it seems much more efficient. Great work, by the way!
Yeah, I've discovered this way since recent and bought a bunch of light color brush pens. As it turned out this way is more efficient for me. But I also use a tracing paper if I need to try a few options. Thank you for your comment and a kind word, appreciate it much following from such a master!
Man this is is awesome, I am working on a school project for a beer logo and have to implement it on the packaging and having trouble with this! Gr. Very nice though!

I'd watch out for that 'i' glyph, it's kind of looking like an R. Other than that, these are beautiful letters. Nice work!

Continue paper sketching with the logo using some revisions.
We decided to try to tint it a little and add some stroke contrast.

I see now that the Pea part should be smaller a little.
