The eye for the "Eye of Sauron" (center part) looks a little too much like a human eye and it's really creeping me out, but maybe that's what you're going for. The one from the film looked more like a cat's eye.
Either way this is definitely intriguing and well done! I'm guessing the right side is 3D and the tower/background was painted in Photoshop? Are you adding grain to the image?
I have to agree about the eye. Also, the metal trim seems a bit too mechanical for the time period of LOTR. I think what could help is the limiting the amount of cuts & barrels. Though LOTR is purely fantasy-based, the architecture in the story was limited to natural elements and hand-molded sculptures. Hope that makes sense :) Looking forward for more!
