Ok, so I made a sprite with all of my social icons required for my website - but then realised that I wanted them to all be 'washed out' but then fade to color on rollover. However, since I was using just one sprite for all of them, this was not possible - but by mistake I managed to get them to animate like a vertical spinning wheel (like on a pokie machine) - until it 'locked' into the correct colour version.
Anyway, I think this effect is kinda cool and adds a little bit of spice to the page.

Cool effect man. I'm wondering how it would look with a quicker animation. It might be a tad too long at the moment.

Hell yeah - sweet accident!
The only thing I noticed was the colour versions of the Dribbble and Tumblr icons were maybe a tad wide?

Haha too cool! I always wondered why transition can't apply to sprites. Still, looks really cool! Thanks for the credit.
