Almost finished updating some older posts for the new version. Fortunately, the few I've done haven't taken up too much time... just some simplification and type-kit-ification (if possible).
As usual, I didn't do the illustration. It's from one of my favorite books.
@Sean Gaffney: Yes sir... I scanned the book at a trillion dpi & sized down the illustration much more than the texture to retain a bit of that halftone stuff. This is an actual post... I don't even bother to make pages for that sort of crap ;)

Trent, looks like that picture of you [http://drbl.in/15350] when you were a little boy. Just this one has more shading and cross-hatching. :P

@Brian Hoff: Ha! I never noticed that, but you're right. Also, it has always been a flaw of mine... not enough shading and cross-hatching :)

In unrelated news, “Dick Gackenbach” is officially the best name ever.

Is that page texture yours or from the book?
Also, based on the text, I hope this isn't the "Oh no, you're using an old browser" page. I'd hate for everyone else to miss this!

@Trent: trillion DPI is nice. I assume you've used Hubble Telescope or a scanner made of genetically-engineered insect eyes? ;)
