    Love them, but it feels like the cactus has a crazy-long right arm (or is it left? I'm not sure). Is this set going to be on sale?

    Great work. The one suggestion I have is changing up the "user" icon (1st icon in the 3rd row). It's really hard to become emotionally connected with an icon that looks like someones hair was burnt off, and face was turned into a circle. Maybe something a bit more personal. Nothing against what you have done here, I just see a lot of icons like that and I know the designers can do more with it. Just my opinion :)

    @Charles 16px is not a lot of space to work with. Also - it's a dark silhouette for a reason. It usually represents a user, and since we don't know what they look like, an 'anonymous' dark silhouette makes a lot of sense. :)

    @Martin /cc @charlesriccardi

    I agree on one point of Martin and disagree on the other.

    Disagreement is on the part that the details suggested cannot be included in such a small canvas. I suggest looking at the Fugue iconset by Yusuke Kamiyamane. Here is some of his user icons.

    What Martin talks about the metaphor is quite right. An icon is supposed to be read by a wide variety of audience. It would be read by bald people, hairy ones and people with a lot of other facial features and hence something that umbrellas all of them well is a dark silhouette. Here is a nice article by Lukas Mathis on the same topic.

    An off-topic critique on the icon set is that some icons seems to have shadows while the others doesn't. I think it affects the consistency of the set.
