    It seemed to continue a while after that for things unrelated to location. I guess I'm being picky as generally everything in this style I like but the overlay on a random photo feels like a cheap win.

    It's apparent that the industry is trending towards a more crafted and handmade look. Probably off the back of the recent Web2.0-high-gloss-sheen and an inherent need to prove our worth above home and desktop publishing.

    I just noticed the decay of individual style during the text-over-a-faded-photo trend. Although as I said earlier, I am seeing a lot less of them. We came, we shot and we moved to something else.
