When life is out of focus and you are just playing with the light.

This started out as an experiment in Affinity Photo. I love the way colours shift when you combine gradients, blurs and blend modes. At first I thought it’d be about space, then with some layer duplication things got more interesting. The image moved from black, blues and violets to these engaging reds and greens. Some algae soaked haze, as if waking from a deep slumber in a fairy forrest. Unable to focus in the misty warm light that hits your sensitive eyes. Conjuring up amoebas, early life and cell division. Neat. :-)
