I start my first day as a brand design intern at BuzzFeed today! Looking forward to an awesome summer here in NYC. To kick things off, I wrote a mini BuzzFeed article for your enjoyment.

7 Reasons Interning is great! #5 will shock and amaze you!

1. Stuff your pockets with the free snacks for free dinner!
2. Constantly have your friends ask you for the cool merch
3. Getting completely lost in a new place and looking like a dumb tourist
4. Getting completely lost in a new office and looking like a dumb intern
5. Using your magical design powers to SAVE THE EARTH FROM CERTAIN DOOM
6. For the first week, explaining to everyone over and over where you're from, where you went to school, and what your big dreams and aspirations are
7. All joking aside, having the opportunity to expand you skillset, meet new people, make amazing connections, and generally have a pretty rocking time is pretty freakin sweet. 😎
