How are you experimenting with color - by hand or on the computer? It's a beautiful line drawing - if I were you I'd definitely scan it in and do your experimenting digitally beforehand. Welcome to Dribbble. :)

I tried so many color options for this portrait! The problem with personal work is that there's no deadline. And since the subject is my daughter it really had to feel right. I think I got it with this version. For now I'm calling it finished! Colored in Photoshop.
