   Depends a bit on the app and the UI with it’s colors. The Z certainly would look clearer and would be easier to find in an app folder on iOS, the left has more character.
   
   Perhaps you could try a version similar to the right, but have the lower 5-10% show the zeppelin cabin while the top ~90% remaining the gas tank/container. Or, alternatively, have the left side of the icon come together in a cone like a zeppelin nose?

   Still, both are expertly done. :)

   Definitely the illustrated one. Would need some more contrast in the upper areas to be pretty decent.
