In an age when the heroes of years past have long past their prime, the youthful HTML Five have stepped up to fill their roles. Each one of them hails from a lineage of legendary heroes. Equipped with cutting-edge gadgets to complement their individual supernatural abilities, these new kids on the block are a force to be reckoned with.

Most recently, they have put their powers to use in an ongoing struggle against the Flash, a once-glorious hero who in his age and bitterness against the new heroes has betrayed his friends and turned to acts of villainy.
