    I thought the dark LCD didn't feel right with the white UI elements, so here's the dark theme I've been working on. I am also working on a white theme.

    I would highly recommend reading my initial comments about this side experiment before diving into conclusions :)

    I like both but am leaning towards the white theme more...

    Perhaps using a colour instead of black for the display area? Like a blue or green, might make the white version more pleasing to the eye?

    I was also thinking why don't you stick with the white theme and go with a blue LCD? A vivid blue background with white text (perhaps add a soft glow to it) would look great. :-)

    I think there's something about lighter UIs on the phone that I like a lot better and you do them very well too. Dark UIs tend to push everything back and making things out tend to become more difficult. I don't mind the contrast of the white to dark LCD, but that's also saying it from looking at it on a monitor.

    I'd like the white one better. I think this dark version could flow better if the large pixel text is the same color as the progress bar.
