Here is a shot from what I built this weekend. This might be the sexiest part of the page so far. Work in progress but I'm happy with the banner.
the "40%" is also selectable text as it will be some dynamic content in page.

Love the detail on the wrap of that green ribbon, and if that pale white is the trend of imagery throughout the website it works extremely well with the green.
If anything I would look at the kerning on that type (But you know what us type freaks are like, and I'm no UI or web guy)
