I can most def see the trees' and it's probably just my odd sense of perception but before I saw the name, in those few seconds, I saw arrows or lightning. But it was replaced with trees in seconds.
But depending on how realistic you need to make this, wondering if you can 'soften' up the trees, or something? I think the slant of them makes it a little curious,
Not sure what to suggest. But liking VERY much the idea.
@Graham Smith - Cheers! Not entirely sure how realistic this wants to be in the end... Per the slant and the overall tree shape, I was trying to push a bit of an 'off kilter' look if you know what I mean? Given that it's an indie label, mixed with the 'nature' aspect, I thought I'd might try to make it look a bit less clean cut...
Something like this would have to scale down to fit on a CD etc. so that scaling obviously has to factor into how much detail gets worked in (save for alternative versions). Of course I can see what you're saying with the immediate recognition issue, and maybe lightening isn't a terrible thing to have in there anyway... ;)
In any case, it's still a very early draft, so we'll see if it takes off... Thanks a bunch for the feedback my man!
Hey Michael! I like the style of this. But as Markus, I fear that the term "NS" is too strongly associated with WW2 - Nazi Germany in particular. I'm not offended by this in any way, but it means nothing less than "national socialism". Sorry to chime in like that. I really like the style, maybe whole words are the way to go here.
One more thing. In Germany, you can't use the term "NS" for anything – it's forbidden by law.
@Sascha - Hey Sascha! Thanks a lot!
Of course I certainly hear what you guys are saying...but in any case, this guy was just an initial exploration > wasn't picked up. As historical baggage goes, Germany definitely carries a heavy load, and I'll obviously have to keep an eye out for 'NS' popping up in the future.

Per the WW2 ref, I didn't in fact... Hope that doesn't put too much of a damper on it for you?
