   So we decided to not go with purple due to target audience. Also i cut off the zig zag and small ribbon to make overall look more clean (but maybe the zig zag should stay). The multicolored stripe color was changed too, just to match new blue color scheme.

   I agree with Michael, I liked the purple better. I can see why it might not work depending on the particular site, however. it made it feel heavy, something this design doesnt do which is great. I liked the multicolored bar better with the purple tho, maybe it's the colors, I'd play with a different palette for that bar. otherwise, lookin awesome.
