Working on this bank logo. I'm mostly playing around with abstract shapes for the symbol. The Coushatta Indian tribe was was known for their basketry, so I created this symbol by "weaving" the C's together. I thought it made a cool symbol but maybe the concept is a bit of a stretch. :) Also open to any suggestions for the type.
I think it works. Caecilia is really lovely. The only thing I might consider is flat terminations on the C shapes in the mark to match the flat termations in the typeface.
What I mean to say, and I hope it makes more sense—I can see it in my mind's eye—is to terminate the end of the stroke at 90° with the direction of the stroke. Oh dear. Maybe that doesn't make sense either? I will draw a picture.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you mean to add serifs to the C like the Caecilia C has? Not sure if I am understanding correctly or not so let me know.

But now that I've done this I wonder if just evening up the circle would be better? It is just a little uneven in spots.

Okay now I get it! I'm going to try this out and see if it helps. Thanks for drawing it out for me!
