I like what I see. I'll probably like it a lot more when I can see more of it and see the actual how the data structures are visually represented. Nice work.
Although the project was billed as an infographic, it was really more of an illustration project. The data representation aspect isn't inventive, which is what I normally look for in sophisticated infographics.
In any event, this is how it displays the information: It is a tiny .75" x 3 " rectangle showing all of these different electric cars + the number representing their power capabilities (their torque.) This number is displayed larger as the torque number grows larger. So -infographic or illo.- not sure really where it falls… probably the latter, really…
I do believe this is actually in print now, so here is the large version. In Wired UK, accompanying an article about the power (torque) of electric cars
