I really like the door icon on its own, but it doesn't fit really well in an iPhone icon if it's cut off like this. So I'm going to say the second one.
I'm gonna say 2 as well. From a user perspective, that's the strongest in a crowded page of apps, even though it's design detail might not be as "nice"...
Watch out what you're getting into, Henri. Design by democracy is one of the worst solutions. Regardless, two. It looks like it belongs on the iPhone. The other is more of a cutout.

Friendly competition for which is to be the iPhone icon for the next iPhone version of Japanese.

2... while I like #1 a lot there's no way I'm going to be able to differentiate that from my other apps, but maybe I'm just a color-oriented person.

IMO 2 works better as iPhone icon, so 2.

I prefer the original 2 (it's one of eight icons I keep on my primary homescreen).

As many people say, #1 looks nice, but #2 works better.

I love 1, but as an application icon, 2 seems to be the better choice.
