Rock on man! I think adding the box shadow on hover is actually a really good idea. It's a subtle effect, but it makes a huge difference on hover. No justice in screen shots at all. Square does a nice job on their site for using it, so does Twitter. Did you add some text shadow to that too?

yeah what you can't see is the -webkit-transition awesomeness. There is indeed a text-shadow set -1px vertically.
