ya know... i see it. very clever : )
however, i still think there is more that could be explored and not lose the minimal style it has. it feels slightly trumpet-esque as well. Perhaps, adding in the cross bar where most companies place their logo? Or perhaps not : )

the only thing I would like to see is maybe a couple cross bars connecting the T and R in yellow too... might not look right once they are in, but it may work really well. Just a thought, not sure if you tried it or not yet. I really dig it.

It's a great concept, but it looks too much like "Uombo". Maybe making the connecting curve closer to the background color would help.
