Holy crap! This is awesome man! Is this just a personal project or is this actually going to be released? The only thing I'd change is to add a tad more padding on the search pop-up bubble. Great work Tim!
Now that's sweet! It would be cool if the menu up top moved up to make way for the green notification!
Nonetheless, The whole thing is awesome! (Except for those "home" and "twitter" glyphs. I recommend changing the "home" glyph to something more like a link icon or a globe.)
CJ Thanks :D
Yeah the notification would slide down (pushing the top bar up) and then slide away after a few seconds i think. Also working on a progress bar i will update in a few.
Adi Thanks! Hmm too bold? I'll look into that.
Yeah the closing, this is what ive been trying to figure out.
i wrote in the first comment, i'm still trying to figure out how to implement the traffic lights!
Andrew I was thinking of putting the traffic lights vertically like it used to be on itunes but not sure if users will like that! I think i may need an os frame! I'll check that out thanks!

Well I spent the day working on this UI design. I guess its still a work in progress. I'd love feedback on everything and anything!
I'm still trying to work out the best way to include traffic light buttons.
Wanna see more? Here's the full thing!
Here is uploading status bar
p.s. If you have a lot of dribbblers on twitter, tweet this post! Thanks :D

This is really awesome. It looks like an unbelievably natural move from the web to the app world. Really nice.

Looking badass!
Beware though, you're going to have the narrow-minded UI/UX standardistas like Joe Hewitt moaning. We did something similar (http://dribbble.com/shots/50211-Seamless-Studio) and caught quite a bit of whining: http://cl.ly/462E2e0O1r2b2y0N3700
But screw 'em. What you've got going looks and functions awesomely. :)

Not sure if you could get rid of the OS frame, but I've created apps based on PHP/HTML using Appcelerator. Was super easy.
