Well I spent the day working on this UI design. I guess its still a work in progress. I'd love feedback on everything and anything!
I'm still trying to work out the best way to include traffic light buttons.
Wanna see more? Here's the full thing!
Here is uploading status bar
p.s. If you have a lot of dribbblers on twitter, tweet this post! Thanks :D

Holy crap! This is awesome man! Is this just a personal project or is this actually going to be released? The only thing I'd change is to add a tad more padding on the search pop-up bubble. Great work Tim!
Thanks man :) Erm well at the moment its just a design but I wouldn't mind teaming up with a developer and make this a reality :)
Thanks for the suggestion, i'll look into that!
Now that's sweet! It would be cool if the menu up top moved up to make way for the green notification!
Nonetheless, The whole thing is awesome! (Except for those "home" and "twitter" glyphs. I recommend changing the "home" glyph to something more like a link icon or a globe.)
This is really nice looking.
Yeah the notification would slide down (pushing the top bar up) and then slide away after a few seconds i think. Also working on a progress bar i will update in a few.
I will look into the glyphs.
Thanks man! :)
This is really awesome. It looks like an unbelievably natural move from the web to the app world. Really nice.
You just immortalized by debut shot *blushes*
The work is amazing! Had to be done! :D
Thanks! If only I could find a willing developer :D
Brilliant work Tim. Keep it up mate.
Nice one George :D
I like the navigation on your design. please finish it!
Not sure exactly what you mean claire.
Here's the full image if that's what you mean. Added the link to the first comment i posted.
nice. only 2 things that struck me, how do you close the window and the tab title fonts is too bold i guess.
Thanks! Hmm too bold? I'll look into that.
Yeah the closing, this is what ive been trying to figure out.
i wrote in the first comment, i'm still trying to figure out how to implement the traffic lights!
Hey your using my shot in the full example, awesome :D
Looking really good. Would love to see this in action some day.
Beware though, you're going to have the narrow-minded UI/UX standardistas like Joe Hewitt moaning. We did something similar (http://dribbble.com/shots/50211-Seamless-Studio) and caught quite a bit of whining: http://cl.ly/462E2e0O1r2b2y0N3700
But screw 'em. What you've got going looks and functions awesomely. :)
Yeah because your shot is pro! :D
I'm talking with a developer, maybe its going to happen :)
Not sure if you could get rid of the OS frame, but I've created apps based on PHP/HTML using Appcelerator. Was super easy.
I was thinking of putting the traffic lights vertically like it used to be on itunes but not sure if users will like that! I think i may need an os frame! I'll check that out thanks!
Looks really great, but i have to ask.. why?
Ah, i see it's just a mockup and not a real app
