Ok, so I'm gonna try to not overextend with shots on this rebranding, but here's a third option I've been working on.
Had loads of back and forth with Gert (huge thanks to him for lots of insight, great feedback and suggestions) on this and I am well aware that it has some flaws etc. But would still like to hear some more input from you guys and what you think could be tweaked and changed. If it's even worth proceeding with this idea at all?
Let me know your thoughts.
But anyway, the concept of this one is three elements.
• Handcrafted Design (Wrench)
• Digital (Mouse)
• Scientific Approach to Design (Atom)
Comparing it to the rest of your website and work (the gestalt of it) I think that this one is the most 'on-brand' of the 3 versions you did. Only thing that doesn't fit is the wrench symbol - find a way how to simplify that icon and match it by style to the mouse and atom ones and you got yourself a winner!
@Emir, as much as I like it visually, conceptually I think it still needs a bit of work. The wired mouse doesn't scream digital to me and like others have said, the wrench killing the balance.
@Alen - I do agree, the fist has a slightly different style than the mouse and that kind of throws you off while looking at it. I will have to do something about that.
@Stephen - Yes, you are right. Glad you brought that up. Gert told me the same thing. Mouse doesn't really say "digital". I was thinking of another hand touching a button setting off ripples, but that is way too complex to fit into a logo. We talked about tablets etc, but it really has to be something that the "Avarage Joe" can grasp.
Many of you mentioned the wrench as something that disturbs the peace so to speak and throws off the balance. That was partly intentional. To bring some minor "chaos" into it. But maybe not as much as it does now.
@Baxter - Haha. No, not at first. But when it was finished I was like "Hey, that looks like a little sperm. Think I'll keep it like that. Might pick up some attention."
Aslo, cheers again all for the feedback and the kind words and taking your time. Truly appreciated.
Got a lot to consider now before I go further with it.
Aight bro I like this one the best. Only thought I have on improvement would be to drop the hand and knock the wrench head out of the top shape in white. I think that would work better. NIce work!! three shapes could stand alone as well.
Yep, liking this one best but I secod the wrench observation and the mouse needs a less wriggly wire in order to avoid the spermy look. I'm digging how solid it feels though, trustworthy.
@Mike@Ema - Cheers guys for your comments and feedback. Seems like most people have those two issues in mind. Great to have more confirms on that! So gonna have to work on those two elements and come up with a fresher approach :)

Yep, the wrench is really throwing off the balance. Everything else looks great though.

Ok, last one of these re-brandings for a while. Promise :)
Just got this idea for a simplified version, so threw it together to see what you guys think.
Feedback of any sort is more than welcome! Thanks.
