Since Nike decided to release* the Mags from Back to the Future II the other day, I've been all giddy. I've been on a huge BTTF kick this past week...browsing for hoverboard props, playing the new BTTF PS3 game, and all kinds of stuff. Anywho, I decided to work on a flux capacitor—just because.
Full size attached.
*Nike is auctioning off 1,500 pairs of the Mags from BTTF2. They're too expensive for me, though :(

Heh, when I tweeted this shot Louie responded with a link to that. But prior to that, no, I hadn't. It's awesome, though.
Great job, Brian. I'm a huge BTTF fan too, so naturally I'm crushed by the insane prices of the Mags as well. :( I've been waiting for them since the initial announcement three years ago... I'm so jealous of anyone who can afford a pair... Anyways, enjoy the game and continue with the great work!
Very nice shading/light and I guess what you could call "environmental" execution vibe whatever. :)
WOW, BRIAN THIS IS SERIOUSLY GORGEOUS! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. YOU ARE A DESIGN GOD!
