Memex app icon

I'm working on an icon for a side project app I can't live without which also helps me build other side projects.

Those colorful stripes represents spaces (directories) in the app and there's an letter M over it. I made some variants that fits better within the icon grid but I'm not sure about the aesthetic. What do you think?
