Started designing and coding our admin interface yesterday. Even though this will never be seen by an end user, I still love working internal tools like this (mostly because I don't have to worry about supporting a billion browsers).
Wanted to see how close to a native OS X app I could make this look (hint: Pretty damn close).
For the top item on the source list, it looks like you're trying to represent two different bits of information in the badge. You should consider making the pill two colors similar to this: http://dribbble.com/shots/194100-Issues-App-take-1
The depth and shadows won't fit in as well, but the general idea will probably make it a lot easier for your users to understand what's going on, at a glance.
