Some experimental typography for a project I'm hoping to launch a little later today. I had in mind something between the Old English typeface and Tim Burton films.
Hey thanks, Phineas :) I agree about the D. I was actually still thinking about what to do with it when I posted this. I tried some more ornate arrangements, but I thought they wound up crowding the word and affecting readability. Ultimately I decided to have the D and E a little less stylized, so the overall shape of the word is recognizable.

I think you just about hit it. Altho I want the 'D' to feel more ornate to match the 'L'. To sort of balance it a bit more?
