Here is the final draft of the Gilford and Sons logo. I really wanted to capture the family owned history of the company. I worked to give the illusion that the shape was a roof.
Hope you like!
Here is another concept I was working on. Click here!!!

Beautiful man. Much better.
That's one very nice logo! Reminds my of the old 50's gas company logos.
Just looking at it, this entire logo could be made using css3. :P
Yeah, like this one.
Oh man, This is good... but I think I like the other one you didn't post. Post that one.
I like this one better than the other concept you posted.
oh btw, is it possible to adjust the spacing between the three lines? I feel that GILFORD AND SONS should be slightly closer to Established 1975.
Blake, this is a really good looking logo. The colors, the shape and the type. The only thing I would consider is maybe just dropping the opacity a bit on the drop shadow pattern. Overall, it's slick :)
Loving the feel on this guy! Shadow's awesome!
Dude this is CRAZY hot! I like the pattern drop shadow, realize it's a suggestive element, the variations in a logo are always wild. Love it man! SWOOSH!
Love love love this, Blake!
@Ismael, I actually love that the shadow is as prominent as it is. It's so unique. Somehow changing the opacity would make it look like any other shadow. Those are my two cents.
WOW! Thanks everyone. You all just made my day!
Very lovely shadows and lighting effects mixed with some great texture. As Patricks says, SWOOSH!
Love the retro feeling on this one! Great use of textures and then I didn't even spoke about that absolutely fabulous shadow ;-) Keep up the good works, loving your entire portfolio
@Gedy - your right... @Blake - forget what I said about the shadow.. keep it :)
Retro is so back! This is too cool!
Love both concepts!
The vintage feel of this is really nice.
Thats great. Reminds me of an old surfboard company logo.
Agree with Danny...love it.
Awesome work Blake. :)
