Here is the final draft of the Gilford and Sons logo. I really wanted to capture the family owned history of the company. I worked to give the illusion that the shape was a roof.

    Hope you like!

Here is another concept I was working on. Click here!!!

That's one very nice logo! Reminds my of the old 50's gas company logos.

Just looking at it, this entire logo could be made using css3. :P

oh btw, is it possible to adjust the spacing between the three lines? I feel that GILFORD AND SONS should be slightly closer to Established 1975.

Blake, this is a really good looking logo. The colors, the shape and the type. The only thing I would consider is maybe just dropping the opacity a bit on the drop shadow pattern. Overall, it's slick :)

Dude this is CRAZY hot! I like the pattern drop shadow, realize it's a suggestive element, the variations in a logo are always wild. Love it man! SWOOSH!

    Love love love this, Blake!

@Ismael, I actually love that the shadow is as prominent as it is. It's so unique. Somehow changing the opacity would make it look like any other shadow. Those are my two cents.
