Got away from the computer this weekend and created some non-digital artwork. Probably going to do some more pieces in this style and either try to sell or incorporate into digital work.

Very cool Ryan. I'm assuming that's cut paper and colored pencil?

Thanks! @Greg It's actually cut wood (1/8" thick plywood) colored with Crayola Crayons. I'll probably stick with the wood, but might try some other mediums like acrylic or pastels.

You can actually get some pretty cool effects with crayon. Basically, you build up a bunch of layers of color and then "buff" it up with some polyester fiber (stuffing in pillows and stuffed animals) and it will start to slightly melt the wax in the crayon to give the piece a slightly glossy look. It's pretty cool!

Really digging this style. I'd love to see a series of these or find a way to hire you to do a few for me. :)

I thought this was done in photoshop before i started reading the comments, and was trying to imagine how you got that "tangible" look to it in such a creative way. So cool. I like the outside-the-box style.

This is awesome! I love the style. It looks so "pixel" perfect I thought it was a digital work on first glance, and I mean that as a compliment. :D
