I dig it, Mike. Looks like a cool type. I take it, it's custom?
Looks a bit like christmas lightbulb decoration (there's probably a better word for that hah) around the letters. Is that the intention?
Btw, looking at this, it makes me wonder... where did your rope-type-shot go? Can't find it anymore :(
@Emir - Thanks man. And yep, custom curves all around. Playing around with some ornamentation styles... The bulb effect is pretty much what I was shooting for here, but obviously have some ironing out to do. RE the rope shot > which one was that? Are you talking about that 'M' tattoo design..?
@Nick - Thanks a lot!!
@Michael - Oh damn, sorry dude. It was actually still there. I was probably just blinded by the gorgeousness of all your shots I guess... ;)
@Emir - HA! Yeah yeah ;)
Hey Mike how you make your fonts? I wanted to submit them to lost type for Caramanna and Harhager.
Digging the curves Michael. The light bulbs reminded me of Las Vegas vs circus style :) Very cool indeed.

If only I could produce sick work like you mike! Your fonts/custom type make me jealous!!! Keep it up!!!
But it's just me or the 'H','A' and 'N' crossbars are looking a little broken, not curvy perfect?
As you see here - http://grab.by/aQEM
Really like this! The feel of the letters is fantastic. The shades of grey work beautifully, too. Aside from the little crossbar fixes Samuel mentioned, the only thing I'd suggest is spacing the letters out a little (L-A seems a little loose compared to everywhere else) which would also allow the bulbs to fit in better. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this!
This is very cool! I like the subtle climbing of the cross bars and my eye totally wants to follow the shadow made of dashes. They look like mini hills. I agree that it may need to be tracked out a little bit, but this is solid.
great piece of type work, Mr. Mike.
Love the detail on this fresh type!
Looks awesome, but you already know that ;)
Looks Sharp Mikey!love the flowage of arms :)
That is one sexy word.
Pretty much nailed it as usual man
LOVE this. PLEASE release as a font!
@Gert / Mike / Cassie / Bradley / Luke / Nick M. / Andy - Thanks a tong guys!
@Nick - Cheers! The bulk of the type I draw out is 100% IL. Moving onto the output stage > FontLab is my app of choice... A bit tedious perhaps, but it gets the job done.
@Claire - Thanks so much! Totally agree RE the spacing. That little dent in the 'H' is actually a layer order mistake... (One of the dot/bulbs is floating in front of the letter where clearly it doesn't belong) > Will fix ;)
@Samuel - ^Thanks for the heads up on that as well.
@Ryan - Will do & much appreciated.
@Adam - Thanks a lot buddy! At the moment this is still an active logotype exploration > so I'll have to hold off for just a bit... Give me a couple weeks, and I may have an update. Again, if we decided to deviate on style a bit, this is definitely a letterset I wouldn't mind exploring...

Took a little time to revisit a piece of unused typography I worked up back in September.
Still fooling around with it...but a little well rounded type exploration is always a nice way to finish out the week.
**NOTE: RE the missing 'N'...
N's are just about as useless as L's in my book...
