First shot on Dribbble, not showing much.

I'd love your thoughts, might want to post more of this project later on.

welcome to dribbble Pieter, what is this exactly? I assume a website, right? if so, I'm pretty curious about the whole thing.

    Thanks!

This is indeed part of the content section of a website.

I will probably post more when I'm fully satisfied with the rest of the website.

not a big fan of wood textures, but this one is nice. I have it too, but I never found a project where it would really fit.

you've made great use of it here tho.

I like the wood background, but the white type / dark drop shadow / white transparency is making this a little tough to read.

I agree with Ted, the contrast is okay for me on this screen, but I can imagine it could be harder to read for other people. Would love to see more.

    Ted, Bram,

The legibility is something I still have to figure out because I'm also thinking people on old / bad screens won't be able to read it that well.

I'm trying to improve that, and when succeeded I'll post a rebound.

    Thanks for the feedback!

This site is online but the wood 's been dropped and the design quite lost its charm, but it still works: http://www.sarabekaert.be/
