i make this for simulate a 3D cut, you can see the water and the layers of the earth, needs more work, but what you think?

Love it. the water and sand are great!

    suggestions:
    - top water ripples to match the underwater ripples
    - bigger trees and smaller tent, seems too unproportional
    - pin seems too big

One of the coolest icons I've seen! Great concept!! The only thing I would suggest is check the perspective on the location pin...and it looks a little flat compared to the rest of the icon. Maybe because the shadow gets a little lost.

love the details! to make the composition even more interesting, what if the pin is sandwiched a little into the right cloud, & the cloud should cast a more obvious shadow on the ground

    I like the details!

However the refracted light that hits the sand doesn't look natural compared to the water surface which is very flat/still.

Also, the edge of the water doesn't look like water - more like a plastic material.

I really love that location pin. Very nice. I would put it a little more towards the top though, as they're usually in the middle of the map, right?

Love everything but the pin. Feels like it's not part of the comp.

The surface of the "top"-water feels very solid, maybe lighten it a bit, og work a bit more with transparency og reflections :) otherwise this looks Sweet!

oh wow, those refracted light beams on the ground totally freak me out :)

maybe add a little detail in the water surface?

    Absolutely amazing Uriel.

I'd also like to see a little transparency at the top of the water.

No one seems to have mentioned the obvious: the pin is in the water?
