    I love bookshelves. Well done! Maybe the book's shadow isn't that accurate if you look at it in 3D perspective, it looks more like 2D, but very nice indeed!

    Looks cool, maybe a bit too flat. ( it's pretty obvious you're going for the 3D feeling, but it still feels a bit too 2D )

    Where the topbar touches the wood, there's needs to be some sort of seperator. Those two bars are a bit too similar. Adding a subtle dropshadow or glow might spice this up.

    Other than that.. great work. :)

    Reflection on the book really works with the design. Depth could be improved on both the shelf and how the book sits—but overall looking really nice.

    These are not books. It's magazines … so you are right: they are more flat-is than books. But again – thanks for your input, I will definitely consider it!

    @Thomas it’s HTML/CSS and some nice enhancement with JS.
