Vertical Marriage

I got to design cover for this newest release from Forerunner Publishing called "Vertical Marriage". It sold over a thousand copies the first week of it's release.....and I'd like to think my cover helped with that :)
I started out by hand drawing the design of the rockets and billows and then vectorized it. And explored with an old comic book feel of halftone dot texture. And we put a spot uv gloss over the dark gray border and title text. I absolutely love how it turned it.
