Unfortunately while it is well executed when scaled down it maybe perceived as a broken disused comb. The type seems solid enough, do you need a mark as well?
I agree with @Tom. Also, to echo @Richard's message, maybe you need to remove some of the prongs.. that might simplify it a bit. Tagline is too small to read when scaled as well.
I love the overall idea, just needs some finessing.

allow me to say one thing, it might be better to give the comb some kind of rounded corners, so it may be easier to see this as a comb, not only lines
