@Steve - Honestly didn't catch the ninja when I was doing it... Seems like the flame 'arms' are probably the main swing that direction. Still working on nailing down the big picture, so this may get switched up a bit on down the road...
@Matt - A masked figure was actually my initial sketch, but I ended up paring it down to the basic elements. Obviously the flow of that guy rubbed off a bit here. Had a second masked subject as well > but it wasn't a dude... ;) Probably end up posting that one too once I work out a couple kinks...

At first glance, its hard to tell what it is or what its for but even with that thought, the logo still rocks. Just love the look of it!

The ninja impression is fine if that's what you want. It seems a lot of people are seeing it. But for me, I don't really associate ninjas with metalworkers, so it's an uncomfortable juxtaposition.
But it's a good start! I really like the zigzag lighting on the face shield.
