Looking at some alternatives styles for the 'W' logomark for the client to use. The changes include a more detailed 'hinge' section, with raised circular emboss, with white plastic 'screw/hinge' effect.
Trying to create this plastic/rubber/wood feel. As Gedy says, at small sizes it's barely visible, but the idea is that in some parts of the identity design, the 'w' will be used big, cropped and bleeding off etc. So large sizes are what I am optimising the texture for.
