Not sure how much I like the "THE" being slanted the opposite direction, but everything else looks great.

I agree with Cory, 'THE' should be like 'AVIATION'

Other than that I love it.

Sorry to double comment, I'm awful at custom shapes and logos, how did you create the shape in the image?

Thanks guys! Dan -- I used inspiration from a collection of vintage shields and signs combined together. A good exercise is to create an illustrator file with them (mine has about 50 different ones), ready to be used, which I can still make some minor tweaks on curves, corners, proportions, etc.

I really need to use Illustrator, I use Photoshop for everything!

Unlike the others I kind of like "the", but it might feel more natural if the direction was changed to imply that it's pointing right rather than left.

Adam -- Thanks for the input. I agree. I'm still not sold with the same direction shear. It makes "the" and "roquet" too parallel. Right now the words read in a Z flow (from left to right to left to right again -- does it make any sense?)

Nice crest. Maybe the "the" would work nicely sitting left aligned to the R of "roquet" on the same diagonal or maybe even straight. underlining or sitting a line might be nice too... just a thought. Digging the style though man!
