Another shot showing my ideas for the footer of my personal website. The idea is that the footer will look very different to the rest of the site by using my ideas on paper to actually form the finished design instead of making it more polished. I have included small details such as the pixel height of the footer and also the width. Just an idea, any thoughts ?
I like the sketchy look, but i think keeping it readable will be hard. Who is your target audience? What sort of clients are you looking to win, as i have seen some companies who react badly to the sketchy style as they assume thats all you can do or its "unfinished" / not corporate enough for them.
Hi Jamie, your totally right. Although the target audience is officially "clients" I wanted the footer area to kinda act as a play den. I hope that the rest of the site will serve the users and give them everything they need, making the footer almost pointless but allow me to play and express myself a little. The chances are once it's gone live it wont be long until I'm forced to make it more corporate. Cheers for the feedback ;)
