Lovely texture! But overall the text has too little contrast. Further, if you are going to do this with CSS, browser users without text-shadow will have a even harder time reading that text. On the other hand, that star in the icon would benefit of being a bit smaller, it feels crammed. Cheers.

Miro, good point, made the star a bit smaller. Not sure yet what I think about the text color. Might darken it up a bit. I kind of like the subtlety of it.
