Previous dribbble has background on this project.
A few tweaks based on some comments received in that last dribbble. Notably have enlarged the font pairing cards/sheets so as to fill the wallet/case more generously. As well as covering a portion of the grey casing. Have also vertically enlarged the top portion of the pocket space slightly.
Experimenting with a texture for the orange inside as well as some subtle shadows etc. Certainly don't want to fall foul of overdone effects so not sure yet on this internal texture.
Reversed flipped the wavy cut squiggle to match the bottom right squiggle mark.

Now this is looking fantastic!
now i am sure i want this app, not because i want to use it daily, i just want to have this icon on my iphone!
the best iOS icon to date.
Love this Graham; also really appreciate the time you take to describe and explain your process and thinking. Great effort!
Great work, it's stunning!
May I ask what that gray/black texture is called? I love it, but I can't put my finger on what it is..
I want to run my hand over it.
Victor: The texture is based on suede/nubuck that lovely material that changes to light or dark depending on direction of your finger swipe :)
Love it - Thanks for the rationale too.. I'm about to do an icon today and it's already doing my head in!
dig this. Love the texture, so clean.
Love the colors
